Rick is responsible for the overall operation of this large and diversified design-build construction company. With business development and innovation as his main focus, he has been instrumental in guiding FWS through rapid and successful growth and diversification.

George Depres
Chief Operating Officer

George provides senior management experience earned with large corporate entities, as well as the entrepreneurial spirit that comes from being a principal in both start-up and established ventures. In his role as COO, George’s focus is on establishing and maintaining the disciplined corporate and communications structures necessary to help propel FWS to new heights while also contributing in efforts to develop new business opportunities.

Troy Valgardson

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Troy is responsible for the oversight of all finance and accounting matters for the FWS Group of Companies. He provides overall leadership and management to the Finance Department as well as prepares financial statements for FWS’ Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and other stakeholders.

Naomi Gregoire
CMA
Controller

As Controller Naomi provides leadership and supervision of the Accounting Department, directs staff, and prioritizes tasks, as well as maintains internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure the integrity of company financial data. Her extensive background in accounting management guarantees the smooth day to day operation of the financial department at FWS.

Debra McAllister
LLB
Corporate Counsel

Debra has 11 years of extensive construction law and competitive bidding law experience for various owners in Alberta and Saskatchewan. This experience pertains to projects ranging in size from minor projects and mid-level projects, to mega projects in the construction sector. Debra joined the FWS Team in December of 2008 and as part of the Risk Management Division, her main role is to provide legal advice for FWS.

Dan Lenters
Manager, Health and Safety

Dan has more than 25 years experience in the construction industry. He began initially as an Apprentice and then Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter, followed by a career in Occupational Safety Management. Dan completed formal training in safety at the University of Alberta, achieving his diploma in Occupational Safety Management.
