Current Opportunities - Winnipeg, MB Project Manager/Project Planner The successful candidate will possess 5 to 10 years
experience in commercial/multi-family or industrial construction
and 5 years experience as a Project Manager/Project Planner. Design Engineer Qualifications for the Design Engineer position include a minimum 5 years design experience. The successful applicant will be competent in reinforced concrete and structural steel design and must be a Professional Engineer registered in Manitoba. Design Layout & Detail Drafter Qualifications for this position include proficiency in AutoCad; machinery, reinforced concrete, and structural steel layout; reinforcing steel detailing; flow sheets and/or P&ID's; and detailing and writing Bills of Material. Construction Superintendent The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years experience with 5 years in a supervisory position. Extensive experience in a relevant trade is required with at least one recognized trade certificate preferred. Candidates will have an ability to handle large projects with minimal supervision and a willingness to travel. Technical Coordinator This position will assist in developing project labour requirements, conduct site progress assessments and interim safety inspections, assess labour requirements and "constructability" of projects, and manage the FWS tradesperson program. 15 years of construction experience and related trade certification are an asset. Construction Lead Hand Requirements for this position are a minimum 10 years experience in commercial/industrial construction, a minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry, an ability to assist with large projects with minimal supervision, and a willingness to travel. Carpenter/Skilled Labourer The successful candidate will possess a willingness to learn, an ability to work independently with little or no supervision, and will be able to carry out physically demanding tasks. Carpenters must have a minimum of 3 years experience, be enrolled in (or are willing to enroll in) an apprenticeship program. Trade certification status is an asset.
