You will assist the Superintendent proactively with technical and QA/QC support, to ensure the project meets all the requirements of the drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
Position Overview:
- Ensure adherence to FWS Quality Management Procedures.
- Perform on and offsite inspections as per the project inspection test plans and ensure QC pre-commissioning checklists are completed.
- Assist with coordinating 3rd party testing & inspection, as required by the inspection test plans.
- Receive and inspect supplier deliveries, ensuring traceability of delivered products.
- Prepare non-conformance reports and participate in the corrective action program when required.
Qualifications Needed:
- Diploma in Engineering technology, or relevant qualifications and experience
- Previous construction experience and general knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks while working within a team environment
Other information:
- Position will involve considerable extended time away from home within North America
- May be involved in multiple projects at a time
- This is rotation work with night shift work required occasionally. 21/7 work rotation
- Must be fit for work, in good health, and able to pass drug and alcohol screening
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to handle packages / materials up to 50lb. weight, unassisted
