This Friday marks National Indigenous Peoples Day, a day to recognize and celebrate the rich cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples across Canada. At FWS, we recognize the importance of this day and are committed to fostering positive relationships with Indigenous communities.

Training Opportunities

FWS is dedicated to providing training opportunities for Indigenous peoples. We aim to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in their chosen fields through various programs and initiatives. By investing in training, we support economic development within Indigenous communities and promote self-sufficiency.

Growing Partnerships

FWS is proud to have established several relationships with Indigenous communities, laying the foundation for meaningful partnerships that benefit both parties. Through collaboration and mutual respect, we work together to create new opportunities for growth and prosperity.

Employment Opportunities

At FWS, we believe in fostering an inclusive workplace where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and respected. We are committed to building a diverse workforce by providing equal opportunity for Indigenous people to succeed at every level of the organization, from field positions to leadership roles in the office. We recognize that Indigenous talent bring a unique perspective and valuable skills to the table, and we are committed to providing a pathway for their success at FWS.

Truth and Reconciliation

As part of our commitment to truth and reconciliation, FWS acknowledges the historical injustices Indigenous peoples face. We strive to address these injustices through our actions, policies and partnerships. We can contribute to healing and reconciliation by actively listening, learning and working together.

Our Responsibility

FWS understands that fostering positive relationships with Indigenous communities is essential for ethical business practices and building a more inclusive and respectful society. Our commitment to Indigenous relations goes beyond mere acknowledgment; it is ingrained in our values and actions. We actively engage with Indigenous peoples to ensure our projects and operations respect their rights, traditions and lands. By collaborating with Indigenous communities, we strive to create mutually beneficial partnerships that honour their cultural heritage and support their economic development initiatives.

We invite you to join us in honouring and celebrating the diverse cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples this National Indigenous Peoples Day. Let’s continue building bridges, fostering understanding and working towards a more equitable society.
