Accounts Payable Associate

To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Associate for our Winnipeg office location, to join our collaborative and team focused organization.

As our Accounts Payable Associate you will provide accurate, efficient and timely processing of verified accounts payable invoices.

Position Overview:

• Process verified accounts payable invoices for the service division.
• Process weekly cheque/EFT/ACH runs.
• Receive and resolve invoice inquiries and statements from suppliers.
• Perform monthly accounts payable-related general ledger account reconciliations.
• Provide support to Project Managers with regards to job cost information/reporting.
• Prepare accounts payable reconciliations and corresponding backup for year end audits.

Qualifications Needed:

• Appropriate level of progressive work experience in the accounting field.
• Enrollment in, or completion of, a certified accounting program.
• High attention to detail, highly organized with strong analytical problem-solving skills complimented with strong time management and the ability to prioritize.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and experience using accounting software packages.
