Marketing Coordinator

Whether our clients are looking at greenfield construction or retrofitting an existing facility, we have the in-house expertise to take their project from vision to reality.

To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator for our Winnipeg office location, to join our collaborative and team focused organization.

As our Marketing Coordinator, you will execute marketing-related functions with a high degree of organization, time management and confidentiality and provide support to the sales team to facilitate the company’s strategic growth plans, with a focus on written content, graphic design and social media.

Position Overview:

Brand Identity

  • Provide written technical and high-quality content for client proposals, blogs, case studies, web content, social media, press releases, procedural documents for internal and external audiences
  • Assists with the development of an FWS “intranet” for purposes of internal communications, education and facilitation of daily business requirements.
  • Provide content for Field Operations to ensure all teams are kept informed in all FWS has to offer.
  • Provide content for print media (advertisements, exhibits and displays, signage, educational material, brochures, logos, business publications, monthly bulletins, etc.).
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of corporate websites for all FWS companies and project content.
  • Promotes, communicates and oversees a recognized corporate standard to deal with the format and appearance of all communications.

Administrative

  • Prepares routine correspondence, presentations, and documentation with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Provide written content and creative input on media campaigns, promotions, and projects, and publication placements.
  • Plan and attend trade shows & coordinate special events, projects and mailings.
  • Travel coordination booking accommodations, and scheduling meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing or a related field is required.  A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 2-years in marketing or communications is required
  • Advanced-level knowledge of social media is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in Graphic Design is an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Acrobat, Hootsuite, GA4, CMS Webflow) and SEO tools is beneficial
  • Proven social media and digital marketing experience
  • Proven ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to various corporate audiences.
  • Must possess a high level of organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal & external clients
  • Ability to attend after hours company functions, exhibits/trade shows, meetings etc.
  • Ability to travel to worksites, trade shows and client offices as required
