QC Field Coordinator

To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for a QC Field Coordinator to join our collaborative and team focused organization.

You will assist the Superintendent proactively with technical and QA/QC support, to ensure the project meets all the requirements of the drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.

Position Overview:

• Ensure adherence to FWS Quality Management Procedures specifically with regard to self-performed B31.3 process piping and structural steel & mechanical equipment setting
• Perform on and offsite inspections as per the project inspection test plans and ensure QC pre-commissioning checklists are completed.
• Assist with coordinating 3^rd party testing & inspection, as required by the inspection test plans.
• Receive and inspect supplier deliveries, ensuring traceability of delivered products.
• Prepare non-conformance reports and participate in the corrective action program when required.

Qualifications Needed:

• Diploma in Engineering technology, or relevant qualifications and experience
• Previous process piping experience and general knowledge of construction materials and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs and specifications
• Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks while working within a team environment

Other information:

• Position will involve considerable extended time away from home within North America. Initial position is a camp project in SK.
• This is rotation work with night shift work required occasionally. 21/7 work rotation typical, however initial role may be 14/7.
• Must be fit for work, in good health, and able to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to handle packages / materials up to 50lb. weight, unassisted
