FWS upgraded the raw crushing and conveyor system for Grande Cache Coal Corporation in Grande Cache, Alberta, enhancing material handling, structural stability, and operational efficiency. The project included demolition of existing equipment, construction of a mechanically stabilized wall, new foundations for crushers and conveyors, an approach slab with steel wing walls for efficient truck access, and pile caps with mass concrete raft foundations to support heavy loads. These improvements optimized material flow, increased processing capacity, and provided long-term reliability, ensuring the facility can safely and efficiently handle the demands of coal processing operations.
