FWS constructed a slipform concrete headframe for a potash mining operation, delivering a 51.9-metre-high structure measuring 18 by 14 metres designed to support critical hoisting systems and withstand the demands of mining operations. The project included extensive excavation and dewatering for foundation pile caps, reinforced concrete collar walls for structural stability, and integrated access and fresh air tunnel systems to support safe personnel movement and ventilation. Additional service structures were incorporated to facilitate maintenance and operations, resulting in a durable, high-performance headframe that enhances safety, efficiency, and long-term reliability in potash extraction.
