Project Overview
This food and beverage project for Cargill Ltd. in Camrose, Alberta involved the design-build delivery of a high-capacity granular fertilizer storage and handling facility. The scope included a 150-foot diameter, 17,600 square foot concrete storage dome with 12-foot-tall walls and a capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes, supported by rail receiving at 300 MTPH and reclaim and load-out systems operating at 100 MTPH. The project also encompassed site work and dome area preparation, construction of a rail tunnel and load-out tower, mechanical installation of all belt conveyors, bucket elevators, bins, distribution, and spouting systems, as well as the construction of a 240 square foot control building near the load-out area, delivering an efficient, integrated storage solution.
